Village Database Map

Currently, there is no legislated requirement for land-lease village owners to register their business with state government. This means that state government has no centralized means of identifying the true extent of land-lease villages throughout Victoria.

Therefore, MHOA Victoria is committed to maintaining its own database of these villages. For each village throughout Victoria we have identified their location, together with the number of homes and residents living in the village. This is a continuing activity, and to date we have identified around 100 villages housing 20,000 residents living in 13,000 land lease homes. Our village map visually identifies detailed information about every village in our database.
