SITE RENT SURVEY
For all Land Lease Village Home Owners
Concerns have been raised with MHOA Victoria regarding site rent fees for Land Lease villages across Victoria. The Victorian government needs qualitative information from Land Lease villages and is supportive of MHOA Victoria in conducting this survey. Survey subjects include:-
- Differences between site fees at similar villages and parks
- How increases in site fees are determined
- Methods of implementing and frequency of increases
- Financial implications for age pensioners
With more than 20,000 residents in Victorian land lease villages, multiple owners and business models, we have an opportunity to collect accurate data and supporting information in relation to site rent fees. With this state wide data, MHOA Victoria can prepare detailed submissions to government and advocate for amendments to the current legislation which governs our lives.
We seek your support to collect appropriate site rent information and thus the survey will be asking you some personal questions which relate to the site rent you pay together with how and when increases are made. Those of you reliant on the age pension will have a sub set of questions specifically tailored for you. The survey introduction provides guidance as to where to locate various information that will assist you to complete the survey. Your privacy is important to us and all data collected will only be used in the context of this survey.
